The BJP Campaign Anthem for the Elections 2014 was inaugurated by Shri Arun Jaitley today. The CD with the anthem song was released at the BJP headquarters at 11 Ashoka Road, New Delhi. Concept lyrics and creation have been done by Shri Prasoon Joshi and Team Tag. The music has been composed by Shri Aadesh Shrivastava. Shri Sukhwinder Singh has lent his voice for the song.

The anthem has been titled “Saugandh” – A pledge to the nation. It talks of the mood of despondency in our country and our collective pledge to ensure that we set our country firmly in the path of progress. In this anthem our Prime Ministerial candidate Shri Narendra Modi expresses his resolve to ensure that India will stand tall and proud, that the recent setbacks will not be allowed to come in the way of India’s glorious future. We hope that all Indians will join us in this pledge of service to our nation.
“Saugandh” campaign has been adapted for radio, television and other media. “Saugandh” will be played at BJP rallies, public meetings starting with Bharat Vijay rally tomorrow.
